If you've been craving some gritty, down-to-earth crime drama, you're in for a treat. Netflix's acclaimed thriller Kohrra is back for a second series today, following the huge success of its 2023 debut. Known for its unflinching portrayal of police work and brilliant acting, the show has quickly become essential viewing for fans of realistic detective dramas.

New Mystery, New Face

Whilst the first series saw Barun Sobti working through a murky murder investigation in the heart of Punjab, Series 2 is changing things up. This time round, we're dealing with a completely new murder case in a different location altogether.

The biggest talking point, though, is the cast. The hugely talented Mona Singh joins the show in a lead role, bringing fresh energy to the world created by Sudip Sharma, Gunjit Chopra, and Diggi Sisodia.

There was a bit of confusion earlier today, as many fans stayed up hoping for a midnight release. If you were one of them, you can stop refreshing your app—the latest update is that Series 2 will go live at 1:30 PM today.

For those who prefer watching in their regional language, Netflix has sorted you out. Both the new episodes and the original series are available with Telugu audio, alongside several other language options.

What's the Verdict?
